A quiet January came and went. Filled with wintery things like ice skating after work (quite awkwardly), practicing crochet stitches and delivering a few straggling Christmas presents (shown above). I suppose the year is off to a slow start but I refuse to worry too much about that, especially on a sleepy, rainy evening like this one. So far I've been happily dreaming more than doing — about getting organized and starting new projects. And I've been trying to cherish free time, rather than fret about how it seems ever insufficient. How is 2012 treating you, friends?

It sounds like a lovely year so far! It's been warming up around these parts and making me want to spend more time out doors! Beautiful packaging by the way!
Imaginations are truly important.....
Love the wrapping!

So happy to follow you on Pinterest. For lack of a better word, I am a 'fan' of yours, and it will be so much fun to see what inspires such a creative, talented crafter!
2012 has been amazing so far, as I became a mother last September, and I am getting to know this little boy and share my days with him.
Thanks, as always, for sharing your wonderful projects with us.

Your presents are so beautifully decorated. My year has got off to quite a busy start; your slow, quiet days sound lovely in comparison. A person can never do too much dreaming.
beautiful ribbon!.....smiles
Olivia, I love all of your work!!!......and for me the winter months of Jan. and Feb. are two of the best months to..."Be still and know that I am God."...Psalm 46:10
Blessings to you, Cate
