I am thankful and thrilled to announce that I am contributing to Victoria Magazine as Artist-In-Residence for 2010. In high school I received three back issues of Victoria that I've saved to this day, to admire the beautiful vignettes and faraway places that grace its features and photographs. I never thought I would have the opportunity to be a part of its pages. For the January/February issue I created valentines modeled on antique cameos. Be sure to find a copy of this issue for more photos and instructions!

I love your site, and love to visit. So talented, and organized. I wish we had an artist like you here at Bunnies By The Bay!
My dear mother got me this issue for Christmas and I have been treasuring it ever since then, just waiting with sheer joy to make these valentines! I finally did just this week, and put some up on my blog. Those two pages were my favorite pages of the magazine, you are so very talented!
hope you are well <3

So so gorgeous!
Sometime, Livvy, I want to hear more about your life! I always sort of assumed you must be a design or photography major, but now I see you're an art history buff! How'd you get to where you are (aka amaaazing at all this jazz!). What's your big life dream?
Yahooo for you!!! Your work is amazingly beautiful and you will be a perfect fit to grace the pages of such a beautiful magazine..I have that copy and love that magazine. Your Valentines are beyond lovely! Look so forward to seeing more! xoxo
That's YOU???!!! :^) ;^) ;^)
I have that issue sitting on my coffee table and I love the article!!! I've always loved anything cameo. ;^) I've also loved Victoria Magazine since it was first published, years ago! I even weathered their brief years in between of not publishing, believing that they would start back up again! I have every issue, except the first three, (I think...I'll have to go check....)
CONGRATULATIONS! I will be so excited to follow this for the remainder of the year!
;^)
Oh my word!!! You have no idea!!! (this is said as I am jumping up and down with excitement) I have poured over that issue and gazed at your cameos since my issue came a month ago. You must just be over the moon with excitement! Congratulations, we all have a love affair with our Victoria magazines. They have such quality and utter enchantment to their publications. To say that I love your cameos is just not enough to express exactly how much.
Congratulations again, I really can't wait for you to share with us this year!
Kate
But Philippines doesn't sell Victoria Magazine.. How are you going to share your section on the mag to us? :(
Oh my...I picked up the current issue of Victoria earlier this month and fell in love with those Valentines. I have been a Victoria reader since it began in the 1980's, and I recall seeing this very page in this year's February issue.
